The Terri Race Educational Technology Fund’s mission is to enhance the education of under-resourced students’ by providing technology. 

Terri worked as a Technology Aide for the District 90 school district for ten years, where all four of her children

In order to honor Terri’s passion to promote technology and make it accessible for everyone, Terri’s family has created the Terri Race Educational Technology Fund.

Terri’s family is in the process of ensuring that the fund is awarded to the best possible recipients.  Thus far, we have donated to the following organizations:

1. Hephzibah Home, in Oak Park, IL, a group home that helps children thrive and families flourish.

2. Irving Elementary School, where Terri attended 5-8 grade;

3. Golder College Prep, where Terri's daughter, Mariel, currently teaches high school Spanish.

4. Oak Park River Forest High School Scholarship Foundation, where Terri, her siblings and her children attended high school, and

5. Chicago Youth Centers Fellowship House, serving students of all ages in after school and summer programming.

6. Girls Who Code, which provide teen girls with computer skills to prepare them for the future!

7. New Moms, New Moms’ mission is to strengthen families by partnering with young moms as they progress toward housing stability, economic mobility, and family well-being.
